Our simple funeral service offers a simple low cost funeral at The Forest of Dean Crematorium.
We understand that some families and friends are worried about the cost of a funeral or may wish to have a very basic, non attended service.
We provide a low cost funeral service for those who have passed away.
This service comes with the same dignity and care that you would expect from this well established, independent, family business. The cost of the unattended funeral is £1765.00
What’s included:
- Collecting your loved one from a private address, care/nursing home, hospital or coroners and bringing them into our care.
- Our professional services includes making all necessary arrangements, administration, transporting the deceased from our Chapel of Rest to the Forest of Dean Crematorium on the day of the funeral and providing staff to convey the coffin at the Crematorium.
- Provision of a simple oak foiled coffin and dressing the deceased in a gown.
- The cost of the crematorium fee.
- The collection of the cremated remains from the Crematorium and safe
storage until collection of ashes.
What isn’t included:
- Dressing your loved one in their own clothes.
- Visiting your loved one in the Chapel of Rest.
- Attending the funeral service.
- There will be no Minister or Celebrant officiating at the Crematorium.
- Arranging scattering or interment of cremated remains.
Payment must be made within 30 days of receipt of final invoice
